cause and effect

cause and effect

Cause and effect of precipitation
Because that is the thing that becomes the occurrence of something happens while the result is something that is the end or result of an event (deed or decision), the requirements or the condition that precedes it.
Precipitation is the process of forming a precipitate ie a solid that is otherwise insoluble in water even though the precipitate actually has the slightest solubility. Reaction in Solution- Most of the chemical reactions take place in solution.

The reaction in a solution is classified as a precipitation reaction if one of the reaction products is insoluble in water.

Nadia: assalamualaikum, Rini.
Rini: wa'alaikum salam, nadia.
Nadia: rin, when is a solution said or classified as a settling reaction?
Rini: a reaction is said to be classified as a precipitation reaction if
one of a product The reaction is not soluble in water.  Examples of substances that are
not soluble  in water, CaCO3 and BaCO3.
Nadia: what will happen if calcium chloride is reacted with sodium phosphate?
Rini: to know the solubility of a substance in need of empiric knowledge as a result
Measurement of various substances in reaksikan. The reaction is:
    3CaCl2 + 2Na3PO4 → Ca3 (PO4) 2 + 6NaCl
NaCl will dissolve in water, while Ca3 (PO4) 2 is insoluble.
Phosphate compounds Most of it is soluble in water, except phosphate
    compounds of sodium,potassium and Ammonium.
Therefore, the equation of the reaction can be written:

    3CaCl2 (aq) + 2Na3PO4 (aq) → Ca3 (PO4) 2 (s) + 6NaCl (aq)

The net ionic equation of the reaction can be written:
    3Ca2 + (aq) + 2PO43- (aq) → Ca3 (PO4) 2 (s)
In the reaction there is endapat on the reaction result that is:Ca3(PO4)(S).

Nadia:means the reaction result of calcium chloride and sodium phosphate produces
      The precipitate is: Ca3 (PO4) 2 (s).

Rini: yes, right.
Nadia: Thanks for the answer.
Rini: Equally, hopefully useful.

  1. hai rin, why CaCO3 and BaCO3 not soluble in water ? thanks

    1. because Water containing a lot of CO2 gas when it comes to limestone so CaCO3 will dissolve in the form of bicarbonate acid CaH2 (CO3) 2 which is an unstable compound (stable). Due to the influence of several factors such as temperature, air etc., the CO2 gas in the solution will come out causing the change of bicarbonic acid to a more difficult form of soluble, ie the original form of CaCO3.Barium chloride can be prepared from barium hydroxide [Ba (OH) 2] or barium carbonate [BaCO3], with barium carbonate found naturally as a mineral witherite. Barium chloride may also be prepared by reacting hydrochloric acid (HCl) with barium carbonate [BaCO3] or sulphide [BaSO4]. On an industrial scale, there are two steps to making BaCl2 derived from barite mineral (barium sulfate.

  2. What causes a solution to be settled?

    1. This class of cations (Ca2 +, Sr2 + and Ba2 +) settles as deep carbonate
Neutral or slightly acidic atmosphere in the presence of ammonium chloride. The precipitate formed
Are BaCO3, CaCO3 and SrCO3 which are all white. Salt of alkaline earth metal
Which are used for separation from each other are chromates, carbonates, sulfates and oxalates. And the precipitate occurs due to the formation of the reaction product of the precipitate, a precipitation reaction if

one of a product The reaction is not soluble in water.

  3. What is the solution of the problem?

  4. To overcome the problem of sediment, then first must know the cause of the sediment. The targets of this sediment prevention can be categorized into sections, namely:
    1) How to vegetation or biotechnique
The way of vegetation is to prevent damage and improve vegetation covering the land surface, thus reducing erosion.

The efforts undertaken in erosion control by vegetation are as follows:

    Land reforestation business (reforestation).
Creation of sedimentary barriers from vegetation, making of live fences and gobalan grass.
Prevent the occurrence of forest fires, which can damage soil fertility and loss of humus in the soil surface.
Prevent sedentary inflammation, which can damage the forest.
Prevents illegal logging and no clear-cutting of the watershed, which can lead to forest destruction, loss of topsoil and lead to soil density.
    2) The way civil engineering (construction)
Eradicating erosion with civil engineering is done according to the rules:
Slow the flow of the surface by minimizing the slope by making the terracing.
Making channels and bunds are parallel to the contour lines.and others

  5. Why there is deposition on the reaction?

    1. For example, acid deposition occurs due to the influence of pollution of sulfur oxides (SOx) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) derived from the combustion process of fossil fuels from boilers in industry, power plants and from exhaust gas emitted vehicles Into the air or brought to the atmosphere by the wind. The gases react with water vapor, oxygen, or dust particles, and with the help of sunlight will speed up the reaction of sulfuric acid and nitric acid formation. If the acids formed in the air are exposed to rainwater, snow or ice fog that falls to the earth then it will be acid rain.
